10. "Wish You Well" - Peel Dream Magazine

Peel Dream Magazine makes it to the A List this week. Their newest album, Rose Main Reading Room, is scheduled to come out on September 4, a year and a half after their last album, Magic is Pocketed, was released in January of 2023. Read about what Stereogum has to say here.

The band is finishing up their summer tour, that also heavily featured Wild Nothing, this weekend. Tonight, they're in Atlanta, GA and in Austin, TX on Sunday at Mohawk.

9. "That's How I'm Feeling" - Jack White

Jack White gets our attention with his track, "That's How I'm Feeling". This upbeat tune is off of his new album, No Name, that released on August 1, two years after his last album, Entering Heaven Alive, came out in July of 2022.

While no upcoming tour has been announced just yet, Jack White will be playing at Desert Daze in Rancho Las Perris, CA, which goes from October 11th to the 13th. Other shows can be requested here.

8. "Chicago" - Japandroids

Japandroids earns spot #8 with "Chicago", the first single from their upcoming album, Fate and Alcohol, releasing on October 18. This album is highly anticipated as the band has not had a new release in many years. We can happily say they have stayed true to their original sound, rocking out since at least 2009.

While Japandroids has not yet announced an upcoming tour, new shows can be requested here.

7. "Bells and Whistles" - Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes captures us with the first single from their upcoming album, Five Dice, All Threes, releasing on September 20. Since the release of "Bells and Whistles" on June 25, another track has been released called "Rainbow Overpass" featuring Alex Orange Drink, which came out on August 6.

Bright Eyes has an extensive list of upcoming show dates, taking us all the way to April of 2025. We are ecstatic to report that they have 3 shows that are in Cincinnati range. They are playing at Megacorp Pavillion on April 23 in Newport, KY; Old Forester's Paristown Hall in Louisville, KY on April 24; and Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, IN on April 25.

6. "Worthy" - Mavis Staples

Mavis Staples' "Worthy" brings the groovy, confident vibe we all needed this week. This track promotes self-love, appreciation and positivity. This is the first new music she has released in over two years after her album, Carry Me Home, came out in May of 2022, heavily featuring Levon Helm.

Mavis Staples has many shows listed for this fall, stopping in cities such as: Three Oaks, MI; Saratoga Springs, NY; Clearwater, FL and more!

5. "Bed of Knives" - Louse

Cincinnati-native band Louse makes an appearance on the list! Their new, melancholy-sounding track is the lead single from their newest album, Passions Like Tar, releasing on September 20. Their last album, Dressed In Skin, was released in June of 2022. Read more about Louse here.

4. "Perfume" - The Dare

The Dare joins the list with their danceable tune "Perfume". "Perfume" is off of their single, You're Invited, that released on August 7. It contains 3 other tracks from their upcoming album, What's Wrong With New York?, that releases on September 6. The other new tracks include: "Girls", "Good Time", and "You're Invited".

The Dare has many upcoming shows listed, such as: Detroit, MI at El Club on September 14; Chicago, IL at Sleeping Village on September 15; Denver, CO at HI-Dive on September 17; and more!

3. "Hog Calling Contest" - King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard grabs spot #3 with their upbeat single that came out July 23. It is partnered with a second release of another new track, "Le Risque". Next, "Field Of Vision" was released as a single on August 6 before their newest album, Flight b741, came out on August 9. Their last album, The Silver Cord, was released on October 27 of last year.

The band started their fall tour yesterday with a sold out show in Washington, D.C.. They make their way to Newport, KY on August 25 to play at Megacorp Pavillion. You can check out other scheduled tour dates here.

2. "Homie Don't Shake" - Fcukers

Fcukers makes it to #2 with their new techno track, "Homie Don't Shake", that released on July 10. Another track, "Bon Bon", first came out on May 7. Both songs are off their newest EP, Baggy$$, that is scheduled to release on September 6.

Fcukers has two upcoming shows in Austin, TX on November 1: one at Kingdom and one at Empire Control Room.

1. "Super Breath" - Karen O & Danger Mouse

Karen O & Danger Mouse take spot #1 with "Super Breath", released on July 24. This is their first track together since their 2019 release of Lux Prima, which is already being re-released.

While it is unclear why the duo took such a long hiatus, we hope to hear more!
