Sammy Rae and The Friends Bring Camp and Community to Bogarts.

Sammy Rae and The Friends performed at Bogart’s on Saturday, March 9th 2024 as part of their Camp tour. Along with releasing two new singles earlier this year (Thieves and Coming Home Song.) The band will be releasing their debut album later this year.

First, was Sir Woman from Austin, Texas. They brought soul to an enthusiastic sold out Bogarts crowd. They released a new single ‘I Know Better’ in 2023. They will also be playing the Newport Folk Festival in July.

Then, was Sammy Rae and The Friends. From Brooklyn, New York. This was their next to last date on their Camp Tour. The stage covered in greenery, flowers, and signs. The band consists of Sammy Rae (the lead signer) and The Friends a collective of musicians.
