What is better than an outdoor concert on a Summer night? A FREE outdoor concert on a Summer night! The Brummies, Coastal Club, and Jane Decker are coming to Fountain Square this Friday, August 23rd as part of the Fifth & Vine LIVE summer concert series to give you just that.
Indie-folk band, The Brummies, had a breakout 2018 releasing their debut album “Eternal Reach” to wide acclaim and 2019 looks to have no signs of slowing down. Made up of vocalists and multi-instrumentalists John Davidson and Jacob Bryant, and drummer Trevor Davis, the Brummies have been playing together in various incarnations since high school. The members count the Beatles, Elton John, ELO, Blitzen Trapper and My Morning Jacket among their influences, but also have an affinity for sweeping film soundtracks, a passion that informs “Eternal Reach”. They’ve already logged countless miles on the road playing with St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Kacey Musgraves (Who they shared a duet with on “Eternal Reach” track “Drive Away”), and more.
Cincinnati's own indie surf pop-rock outfit, Coastal Club, will support and are celebrating by releasing their debut 7 inch vinyl with Cincinnati's vinyl boutique, Soul Step Records. Cincinnati's indie-pop singer/songwriter, Jane Decker, will also support and will kick off this exciting night of music.
Fountain square features Wild Turkey and has a full bar with beer, wine, and liquor. This event is FREE and family friendly!
