Tonight, it was a mix of covers, his solo work, and Men at Work songs – all on guitar. First, was ‘Going Somewhere.’ The title track from his 2000 solo album. After the song was finished, he discussed his covers album recorded during the pandemic “I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself.”A Burt Bacharach cover famously sung by Dusty Springfield. Which, traveled with him when taking the boat/moving to Melbourne with his family. He also discussed two beatles – Paul and Ringo. Discussing the time Paul visited his house. As well as showing Ringo his covers album (I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself.)' and their shared love of the song. Then he went straight into ‘Beautiful World’ also from the ‘Going Somewhere’ album. After, a few more stores such as scattering his mother’s ashes near Port Philip. Which led to the song ‘Starfish and Unicorns.’ As well as meeting Jack Nicholson backstage long ago – the inspiration for Jack in ‘Looking for Jack.’ Ending the show with his most famous song ‘Down Under.’ It was a lovely night from a wonderful songwriter.
