Lord Huron: Vintage Meets Modern at Bogart's

If you’ve been looking for what indie rock looks like in 2018, look no further than Lord Huron. The group has been gaining momentum as an indie force to be reckoned with since 2010 and released their third album, Vide Noir, earlier this year. On September 22, Lord Huron will be coming to Bogart’s to perform their indie rock hits.

Lord Huron is a Los Angeles band formed in 2010 by Ben Schneider. Founded originally as a solo project, Schneider ultimately added members Mark Barry, Miguel Briseño, and Tom Renaud to help out with live performances. Lord Huron broke out onto the scene with their first album Lonesome Dreams (2012). On April 20th of this year, the band released their third album, Vide Noir.

Lord Huron plays in the space between folk and synth-driven indie rock. Often hearkening back to 60’s era singer/songwriters with ambient vocals and arrangements, like on single “Wait by the River,” which echoes an almost “Unchained Melody”-esque love song of days gone by. Comparable to acts like Father John Misty and The Head and Heart, this show is perfect for any fan of real indie rock.

For a night of ambient harmony, 60’s vibes and solid indie rock, be sure to make it out to see Lord Huron as they tour for their third album Vide Noir. Be sure to stop by our table at the show!
