Each and every week here at INHAILER, not only are we always on the lookout for amazing new music to play for our listeners, we’re sent music from record promoters and label reps in hopes of getting their artists on the NACC (North American College & Community Radio) charts. Think the Billboard charts but with more of a focus on not only up and coming indie artists but those big name mainstays that are now headlining music festivals around the world. Listening to all of this music is a large undertaking and there is a lot of stuff that doesn’t quite make the cut. Here are the best of our new adds:
1. IDLES - "Danny Nedelko" - Single (Partisan)
Voted the UK's best punk band by The Guardian, their sophomore album will be out August 31st. IDLES are a socially conscious punk rock band, covering topics from nationalism and immigration, to class inequality and toxic masculinity. They make loud and powerful music with a message.

2. Claptone - Fantast (Different Recordings)
This is Claptone’s 2nd album. This mysterious DJ lets his features take the light on each song while he curates beats to suit their style. The Clap Your Hands Say Yeah feature is my favorite track, as was their collaboration on his 1st album. He makes amazingly fun dance music with vocals on every song.
What We’re Playing Off The Record: Animal (Feat. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah), Under The Moon (Feat. Nathan Nicholson)

3. LVL UP - "Orchard" - Single (Sub Pop)
This is LVL UP’s farewell single as a band as they embark on their final tour. What started as a dorm project in 2011 became a full fledged band with a lo-fi 90's indie inspired sound. A truly beautiful song when put into the context as a farewell as a band.

4. Mourn - Sporesa Familia (Captured Tracks)
Catalonian quartet Mourn are finally back after a legal battle with their Spanish label which prevented them from touring or releasing music. What we have now is their 3rd album, one full of raw emotion, tension, and pressure. Everything they've had to live through the past two years is on full display.
What We’re Playing Off The Record: Fun At The Geysers, Barcelona City Tour
Recommended If You Like: Hinds, Priests, Savages
5. Krrum - Honeymoon (+1 Records)
Producer and musician Krrum comes from the wilderness of England, a small town where the busses stop running at 5 PM. He was always drawn to music, which came into focus when he went to Leeds College of Music to study music production. A super fun sound that sort of mixes Bon Iver songwriting with Kanye West/Justice inspired beats. Evil Twin was off his EP from last year and is one of my favorite songs from 2017.
What We’re Playing Off The Record: Evil Twin, Phase, Waves
