Amy Shark: Aussie Pop at the 20th Century Theatre

Coming to the 20th Century Theater on May 16, Amy Shark is an up and coming artist from Australia that is quickly making a name for herself, while churning out hit after hit. With a her smooth vocals, mountain-esque sound with a pop twist, Amy Shark is sure to provide a performance that won’t be one to forget.

Amy Shark got her start in Australia in 2014 as a YouTube performer. In 2016, she released “Adore." It quickly became an Australian hit, reaching number two on charts in her home country. “Adore” also placed second on the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2016, Australia’s annual music listener poll, just behind “Never Be Like You (ft. Kai)” by Flume. Amy also won Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the Gold Coast Music Awards in 2017 for “Adore”.”

In 2017, Shark was named Apple’s next Apple Music artist. She’s also performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Tonight Show Staring Jimmy Fallon. Most recently, Amy’s song “Sink In” was featured on the Love, Simon soundtrack, which debuted at #37 on the Billboard 200.
