A Fully Baked Night: Kid ESP and Spooky Dreamland at Chameleon

Show Flyer

Get ready to get trippy. 4/20 only comes around once a year, and what better way to spend the good vibe holiday than with some of Cincinnati’s very own psychedelic, post-punk, and new wave bands. Spooky Dreamland, Kid ESP, and Grand Process will be at the one and only Chameleon pizza pub.

Spooky Dreamland is a dreamy, indie-psych-garage-rock band that will have you unconsciously nodding your head. The band just finished playing Live on Short Vine where they rocked the bar and had the crowd feeling nothing but good vibes. No stranger to the local Cincy music scene, the band has been playing many shows including gigs at Urban Artifact and Northside Yacht Club. Their sound follows a powerful rhythmic melody with crushing drums and vocals that will surely take you to your very own dreamland. The band has produced several original tracks creating digital albums and singles for all to enjoy. The most recent digital album from the guys is ‘Extravaganza’ featuring rocking chill tunes ‘Aliens’ and ‘Curse’. Check them out on the band’s Facebook page and Bandcamp website where you can hear their tracks!

Joining the party is the post-punk and new wave band Kid ESP. Kid ESP is taking over the Queen City and have played with many of Cincinnati’s favorite local bands including the Yugos and Carriers. The band has been working directly with other local bands including Jackson Deal from the Yugos to create and inspire through the power of music. The band offers a straight to the point jam session that anyone can dance to. Kid ESP released their song ‘Morning Ritual’ that has uplifting guitar riffs and strong vocals. They will be sure to bring their pumped up melodies and beats to this one of a kind psychedelic show.

But wait there’s more…... For the first time ever Cincinnati is going to be introduced to a brand new post-punk, new wave band…. Grand Process! The band features on bass and guitar a familiar Yugo face. Jackson Deal takes on a new trip leading the band as the vocalist and lead guitar with Jacob Duber on the bass and Roland De Blasio beating the drums. The band is excited to play and share their new music with local fans. Grand Process is currently working on their debut album and it will be out “sometime soon.” Keep this band on your watch list as they are just getting started and ready to take on the Queen City.
