Need Thursday night plans? Look no further than MOTR! On April 12, MOTR is set to host a very soulful evening featuring Cincinnati’s own rock, soul, gospel, and western group Heavy Hinges.

Formed in 2012, this group of friends quickly realized they had something they wanted to share. Leave the lead to a strong and powerful vocalist like Maya Banatwala and throw in some more energy from Dylan Speeg on guitar and duo vocalist, with the rhythmic drumming of Brian Williamson, let Andrew Laudeman take that incredible bass and rock with Jeremy singer on the lead guitar and you have the one and only… Heavy Hinges.

Heavy Hinges holds their work near and dear to their heart. These talented musicians are expressing themselves through music with lyrics and tone. The group has recorded two acclaimed albums Mean Old City and Cause a Scene with popular songs "Too Hot to Handle," "Long Time" and "Booze May Be Your Lover." The band is working on some new music and a third album. Will we get a sneak peek at MOTR? Local fans and music lovers all around sure hope so!

Joining Heavy Hinges is Cincinnati up-and-coming band DINGE. DINGE is a Cincinnati rock band who has played alongside many of our favorite bands such as Suck the Honey, Lemon Sky and Blvck Seeds. The band brings you amazing guitar riffs, energetic drumming, and the very sweet vocalist Emily McColgan. These guys have been making their way around the city and are no strangers to local Venues such as MOTR and The Woodward theater. Check them out!

These local bands are bringing you everything you need for a rockin’ music filled Thursday night. You don’t want to miss out! Come get your live music on with Heavy Hinges and special guest DINGE at MOTR!
